About
The UF Compliance Program

To demonstrate the University of Florida’s commitment to operating in an environment of integrity, the Board of Trustees implemented a system-wide compliance program. The UF Compliance and Ethics program is a collaborative effort from multiple areas system-wide and is designed to promote ethical conduct, effectively prevent or detect non-compliance, and maximize compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The UF Compliance and Ethics program was established as a point of coordination and a resource to all employees for all compliance activities. The program provides training, advises on conflicts of interest and other compliance-related topics, assists with monitoring efforts, and is available as a channel to ask questions and report concerns.

In November 2021 and every 5 years thereafter, the Board of Governors will require that an external effectiveness review be conducted of each university’s compliance program. In preparation for this, we will be conducting an internal review of the UF Compliance and Ethics program system-wide to assess conformance with the BOG regulations and see if there are opportunities for improvement. Thank you for all your efforts in ensuring the University of Florida is operating ethically and legally!
